The Pistol is the default secondary weapon for Flanker and Mechanic. It appears to be a Hi-Power handgun with a wooden grip and a light gray finish.
Bullets fired from the Pistol deal a small amount of damage, though its high rate of fire make its damage output relatively high if multiple shots land in succession.
In addition, its accuracy, while not the best, is still tighter than the Lever Shotgun and the Shotgun, making it useful for fights outside of the primary weapon's effective range when finishing off retreating targets, or as a backup weapon when the primary runs out of ammunition. The accuracy also makes it a great option for destroying stickybombs and chipping away at Sentry Guns.
Both classes use the Pistol in a similar way; however, the Flanker only carries three extra magazines, forcing him to make his shots count, while the Mechanic carries substantially more ammunition, to the point where running out becomes nearly impossible if proper care is taken.
The Pistol has a Summer-themed reskin called the Raven.

Tips[]
General Tips[]
Flanker[]
- Use this weapon when fighting targets outside the Lever Shotgun's range due to its increased accuracy. However, make your shots count, you only carry three extra magazines and the Pistol's high rate of fire means you will quickly run out if you fire randomly in a fight.
- If both your primary and the Pistol are empty, prioritize reloading the Pistol, as it will allow you to fire sooner.
- When approaching enemies, attack with the Pistol first. 2-3 seconds of accurate Pistol fire can whittle down the health of lighter classes, allowing you to kill them with one blast from the Lever Shotgun.
- The Pistol serves as a great backup when your primary is out of shots, as it allows you to sustain fire when you would otherwise be reloading.
Mechanic[]
- Your sizable ammo reserve means you have the ability to spam when checking for Agents. In addition, this, combined with the weapon's fast reload speed, means that you can provide support or covering fire for your teammates in a firefight. The higher accuracy also means that you can stay farther from incoming fire, thus avoiding unnecessary damage.
- The weapon is a useful option for chip damage, where you land a few shots to decrease their health, continuing to do so until they decide to retreat or fight. Both of these are in your favor; retreating will temporarily put them out of battle, while approaching in their weakened state would allow you to kill them with a Shotgun blast or your sentry gun (if it is nearby).
- Like the Flanker, the Pistol is a good backup when your primary is out of ammunition, as it allows you to sustain fire when you would otherwise be reloading.
- Spamming the weapon during a firefight means that a lot of your shots will miss due to bullet spread. Since bullet spread resets 1.25 seconds after a shot is fired, keep this timing in mind to make your shots land consistently.
Vs. Bosses Tips[]
Flanker[]
- Due to the mini-crits on hit the weapon is perfect for long range combat so use it when your shotgun isn't in effective range.
- Pistol can run out of reserve ammo easily for flanker so remember where all the ammo packs are in the map you are currently in.
Mechanic[]
- Use this weapon to hit the boss from far range where your shotgun isn't effective.
