The Minigun is the stock primary weapon for the Brute. It is a large, Gatling-style M134 machine gun with a long, rotating barrel at its front. Two handles are placed on the gun: a gray one placed at the close end of the barrel, and a black one placed at the rear of the gun, which sports two red switches. A dark green tank is placed on the side of the gun.
The hallmark attribute of the Minigun is its powerful close-range game: the weapon fires four bullets per shot at ten shots a second, and boasts an impressive 200-round ammo capacity, making it extremely deadly should you encounter an enemy at close-range. However, the gun must be spun up for a few seconds before it can be fired; while doing this, the Brute's movement speed is reduced, and he can't move at all while crouching. In addition, the weapon suffers from high damage falloff and a wide cone of fire, though this can be alleviated somewhat by spinning the gun up for at least 2 seconds, which will increase the bullets' accuracy and damage by 50%.

Tips[]
- You can keep the Minigun spun up by holding down alt-fire, ensuring you're ready at a moment's notice. You can use this by taking up strategic defensive positions, an alternative to launching an assault as a Brute.
- Keep in mind that spinning up the Minigun will decrease your movement speed to a crawl and produce a sound that alerts others to your presence.
- You can jump and tap alt-fire to bypass the Minigun's speed penalty while spun up, as you will move at near-full speed while you do so.
- While you may have a sizable ammo pool, it's important to not waste it on unnecessary targets, such as SuperCharged enemies or enemies at long range. Doing this can leave you without your Minigun at crucial points in the match.

- There was a bug during the OverColors 3 update, where equipping the Syringe SMG in Vs. Bosses would give the user a Minigun in its place rather than the Syringe Crossbow.
